Falun
The race is for everyone, from the total beginners to the professional. The course is designed so that anyone can try multisport and adventure racing. Kayaks are available for rent, registration is possible on site and you can race together in two-person teams.
Registration/Check-in
The registration and race center is located to the ski stadium at Lugnet. Be there well in time for registration and logistics for kayaks, bikes and running equipment in the transition area. This always tend to take longer than expected.
Registration opens at 09:00 by the Race Centre at the ski stadium, Lugnet, Falun.
Participants themselves are responsible for logistics and distribution of their equipment. There will be staff from the organization by each TA (transition area) and at the start at Främby Udde from 09:00.
Parking
There is plenty of parking up at Lugnet. Try to carpool or get a ride to Främby Udde from Lugnet. At Främby Udde there is limited parking space.

Provide credit card information at the time of booking to guarantee your room. Payment is made to the hotel when check in. It is possible to change and/or cancel your room until 18:00 on the day of arrival, In case of changes and/or cancellation after 18:00, or in case of no-show, the hotel has the right to charge for missed nights. Getting here
You can easily get to Falun by either car, bus or train.

All racers are personally responsible for the logistic and transport of gear. There will be staff available from the Åre Extreme organization from 09:00 by Främby Udde and all transition areas.
-All “rubbish” in the form of paper, bottles etc. must be taken to the next transition area / trash bin or finish line.
-In case of an accident / emergency, YOU as a competitor are obliged to assist the injured / sick person / patients in the best possible way.
-If a competitor quit the race, this must be announced to the nearest manned transition or staff member.
-Support is not allowed along the course but only at the official Transition areas.
-All participants must be aware of the risks of competing in this type of sport, environment and be well prepared.
-The event has a security organization to minimize the time to evacuate a seriously injured participant. But weather and terrain conditions can affect the time, which is why the mandatory equipment is important to bring.
-All participants, by registering for one of Åre Extreme events, agree on a common distance from doping in sports. In the event that a participant or someone in the participant’s vicinity uses or trades with doping that are not permitted according to the Swedish Sports Confederation’s regulations in force at any given time, ÅE will report this to the federation’s participant’s own federation and suspend the person in question for competition in Multisport.
